What is Family or Parenting Assessment?
A family or parenting assessment is a thorough evaluation designed to understand the strengths and needs of a family.
This assessment helps in making informed decisions about the best living arrangements and support services for children.
The process involves observing and working with families to identify areas where they may need additional support and guidance.
Who We Support
We provide a comprehensive range of Family Assessment services tailored to meet the diverse needs of families, including:
- Families requiring residential assessment as part of their care and support plan.
- Sole parents or two-parent families, depending on individual circumstances and support needs.
- Young parents, or those referred due to challenges such as mental health needs, learning difficulties, or histories of substance misuse or domestic abuse.
- Parents or families with learning disabilities or additional support needs.
- Families with an additional young child, where certain centres offer family rooms that can accommodate multiple children.
- Accessible centres for families with mobility needs, including wheelchair accessibility.
- Specialist support for individuals with significant or long-term mental health needs at select centres.
- Female-only centres for those seeking support within a women-focused environment.
Our Family Assessment services are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment, with tailored assessments to help families build a stable foundation for the future.
