Our school policies are designed to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all our pupils, staff, and families. These policies reflect our commitment to our EPIC values, high standards, and the well-being of our school community.
Our curriculum follows the National Curriculum and includes core subjects such as Literacy, Numeracy, Science, and ICT. We also offer a variety of vocational subjects, humanities, citizenship, PSE, and physical education programs.

School starts at 9am and finishes at 3pm.
All pupils will need to bring a healthy packed lunch.
All absences need to be reported to the school office before 10am.
Each student has an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) setting out
clear aims and objectives for learning.
Student achievement and progress is monitored on a weekly basis and a report produced at the end of the academic year.
The report will be issued to the parent/carer. All parents/carers, representatives from placing authorities and partnership organisations will be invited to an Annual Celebration Day.
Attendance at The Grange School is monitored closely. Good and outstanding attendance is rewarded termly to pupils.
We like all our pupils to wear our school polo shirt, this is particularly useful for outings.
Generally dark bottoms and sensible shoes. However we do recognise
that some children have sensory issues around certain clothing and we take that into consideration.

Parents, carers, or local authorities can contact us to discuss the needs of the child.
We ask the person wishing to commission the placement (normally the Local Authority) sends over relevant information, such as, EHCP, previous school reports, professionals reports.
This allows us to conduct a thorough assessment to determine if we are the right provision to meet needs.
Once we feel needs can be met, we work closely with all parties to facilitate the placement process. If the Local Authority request the place, this is subject to funding being agreed at a panel meeting.
After admission, we provide continuous support to ensure the child settles in well and their needs are met.
