Keys Group are celebrating after finding out that they have been shortlisted as finalists in some of the most prestigious awards in the care industry.
The Laing Buisson Awards announced Keys as the finalists in both the Public Private Partnership Award and Children’s Services Award categories. A few days earlier a young person supported by Keys Group was also announced as a finalist for the Children’s Achievement Award in the Children and Young People Now Awards.
Trish Lee, CEO, commented, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for these prestigious and highly recognised awards. It’s fantastic to have the hard work and progression we have made over the last 18 months formally recognised, especially in light of the competition we faced and the high standard of entries. The recognition of the brilliant work one of our young people has done with local commissioners and Keys staff to help improve the lives of other young people facing the same challenges is particularly heart-warming.”
Keys Group is an established independent provider of residential children’s care and specialist education in the UK. The company’s single strategic objective is inspiring and supporting young people to live happy, healthy and successful lives.
Laing Buisson commented, “This year we received a record-breaking number of nominations for every single category, with over 400 entries in total. The competition was extremely tough, and decisions were very hard, but we are thrilled to announce that you have made the finalist list”.
Winners of the Laing Buisson awards will be announced at a formal awards ceremony in London on 13th November and the Children and Young people Now Awards winners ceremony takes place on 28th November, also in London.
