Keys Group is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of Peak Activity Services, a Staffordshire-based provider of specialist education and activity centres.
The acquisition sees Peak’s four schools and seven activity centres across England join the Keys family of services which includes specialist schools, residential children’s homes, leaving care, family assessment, activity and intervention and adult resource centres.
Keys Group Chief Executive David Manson said: “We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues from across Peak’s schools and activity centres, as well as their business support functions, to Keys Group.
“There is a true synergy between the two organisations who share similar quality-driven values. Their four schools in and around Cannock and Stoke-on-Trent are very similar to the 19 specialist schools which are already part of Keys Group, with all supporting children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties for whom mainstream settings cannot effectively meet their educational needs.
“We are excited also to welcome Peak’s activity centres. These centres work with the schools and help support the curriculum each offers with an ethos of ‘supporting education through adventure’, something which we hope to roll-out across the Group with all of our existing services and the people they support potentially being able to access these activities. It’s a very exciting addition to the Keys family and a great enhancement to what we can offer.”
The Peak activity centres are available for other schools, including mainstream settings, as well as being open to the public for pre-booked sessions.

“The addition of Peak and its fantastic team and facilities will help us enhance what we offer, not only to the people we support, but also in terms of opportunities for colleagues across the Group too.”
