Keys Group, the second largest provider of independent children’s homes in the UK, is pleased to announce the publication of its second Annual Quality Report for 2019/20, which outlines the Group’s achievements and journey since its acquisition by G Square.
The report demonstrates not only the progress to date, but also the Group’s continuing drive towards achieving the vision of ‘inspiring and supporting children and young people to live happy, healthy and successful lives’.
The quality improvement measures in place are highlighted in the report, in particular how Keys Group is using measurement and real time data to closely monitor and improve service provision throughout the organisation. In addition, a separate Safeguarding Annual Report will be available on request.
Future plans for the Group are also outlined, including the development of its Clinical Services Strategy and making sure the voice of children and young people is heard more loudly throughout the Group. A transition model is also being produced for young people moving through residential care into leaving care services.
David Manson, CEO of Keys Group, commented:
“The coronavirus pandemic this year has presented us with numerous challenges and we have had to make significant changes, in order to continue to deliver safe, high quality services to vulnerable children and young people. However, our passion to support young people to achieve great outcomes has not wavered. Our people have remained determined to deliver our vision and focused on delivering excellent care and education, no matter what. Our Quality Strategy is paramount and as we continue to grow and provide even more young people with the opportunity to realise their potential, this will remain at the heart of everything we do. “
